Malam Nada Biru are mini-concerts that are organised to bring forth talented Malaysian as well as regional artistes to perform in a location that is audibly and visually intimate, cool and comfortable.
The location that we have decided on is Lambang Sari which is situated at Istana Budaya Kuala Lumpur. This location was selected due to its intimate layout which is a perfect venue to hold performances for an audibly cool performance.
However, there will be some Malam Nada Biru performances in the future that may be perfomed at Panggung Sari – the main theatre at Istana Budaya that will be able to accommodate more than 1,400 spectators or audience.
Malam Nada Biru bersama Atilia, Noryn Aziz dan Mujik Majik will be the first of a series of concerts that we propose to have in 2010, working together with Istana Budaya to have performances in a location that is an alternative to the usual Jazz and performing clubs in the city.
It will set the benchmark to allow Malaysian as well as regional performers to perform their music to a style that may be different from their normal style of performance. |
